What to expect on Your Massage Appointment
When you arrive to for your initial massage therapy treatment, our front desk will greet you, check you in, and make sure we have all the patient information we need for your visit.
Your massage therapist will start your session in the treatment room and begin by asking you about your medical history and any current injury, pain or discomfort you are experiencing. They will get your informed consent and carry out any relevant tests to assess your range of motion, joints and muscles.
Our massage therapists will then recommend a treatment plan, and perform hands on treatment. This may include:
- various massage techniques
- breathing and relaxation
joint mobilization and stretching
As a part of your treatment plan, your massage therapist will recommend any post-treatment or at home care. Any follow-up appointments will be discussed and organized by the front desk staff for you!
