Running Resiliency, led by Greg Lehman, is the running-specific version of the popular Reconciling Biomechanics with Pain Science course. This course teaches practical applications of biomechanics and pain science for managing and treating endurance runners. All case studies, exercises, and treatment strategies are directly related to running. You’ll learn how to assess injuries, analyze gait, and manage training loads using evidence-based principles. By the end, you’ll have a clear clinical reasoning framework to confidently support runners of all abilities.

Journal Club

At Pursuit Physiotherapy, we value learning and embrace an evidence-based approach. To support this, we host a monthly Journal Club where clinicians come together to discuss the latest clinical research papers.

Our goal is to stay current with new studies, continually improve our treatments, and ensure our patients receive the best possible care. The Journal Club is open to any clinician, regardless of their practice setting—anyone with a passion for learning is welcome.

If you’d like to receive updates on upcoming sessions and discussion topics, email us at info@pursuitphysiotherapy.ca to join the mailing list.

Mentorship That Supports Your Growth as a Clinician

The transition from school to clinical practice can be challenging. Managing a full caseload while refining your assessment and treatment skills takes guidance, structure, and ongoing support.

At Pursuit Physiotherapy, we offer a one-year, structured mentorship program designed to help physiotherapists and clinicians grow into confident, well-rounded practitioners. Our approach goes beyond academics, combining evidence-based practice with real-world clinical reasoning and hands-on skill development.

Mentorship at Pursuit is scheduled, intentional, and specific. Therapists receive weekly one-on-one mentorship, alternating weeks of focused coursework and dedicated office hours for case discussion and clinical problem-solving. Each topic is supported by comprehensive learning materials that integrate theory, research, and practical application—so learning translates directly into better patient care.

If you’re looking for a clinic that genuinely invests in your professional development, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Learn

  • Clinic Principles

We start by building a strong foundation, focusing on clinical systems, communication, and workflows that support consistent, high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience—no matter what walks through the door.

  • General Physiology and Treatment Principles

You’ll learn to approach musculoskeletal care by tissue type, using physiology-driven reasoning to simplify assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

  • Beyond Physiology in Rehabilitation

We layer in complexity by integrating psychosocial factors, clinical reasoning, and real-world decision-making into assessment and rehabilitation strategies.

  • Specific Conditions

Finally, we bring everything together by applying these principles to common musculoskeletal conditions across different body regions in a practical, case-based format.
